Will finish this tomorrow. My version is a bit longer so ive read slightly more too. This has been super interesting so far, the story centres around a writer so those aspects have been intriguing and part of the horror is literally a writer being used as a vessel to write a horrible story that will come to life, pretty interesting if you ask me. Prose is also excellent imo. Should be on a 4 but let's see the ending.

Most definitely mate, i had a look and there's a novel that collects this, the drake the great one and one more similar length story in a single novel you can get, just incase you were ever curious. "Grim investigations"
On that topic, id say these two stories are probably 2 and 3 for me all time from all the arkham horror ive read, (7) but i need to see ending for this one.
