Okay, so Connie is a different in this book than on screen Conrad. Ugh now I understand why he’s so quiet on screen—it’s because he’s having all these thoughts about Belly. Still he drives me insane that he waited 2 years—right when Belly is about to get married, to profess his love for her. UGH
