Just read "Pickman's Model" that one was awesome. Very unique and very spooky, this short story has spawned a semi niche horror trope that Ive fucked with always, that being a painter paints evil scary things but it turns out those scary things are real!!!

Just read "Call of Cthulhu" and yeah it was pretty good, up until now the cosmic horror has been a lot more abstract and not fully realized, this one is definitely known as one of the best in his bibliography as it really does drive home that brand of horror i like.

Just read "The Shunned House" this was sooo boring until half way through, where it picked up slightly, then kind of boring again. The premise was cool and so was the imagery, but nothing really happened and it resolved due to info the main character got out of thin air.

Just read "Under the Pyramids" with Henry Houdini.
Literally fanfic of henry in an eldritch situation? Don't get it also this was mostly and excuse for lovecraft to show off his wierd obsession with Egypt, also racist tones here.
The last 2 pages were alright.

Just read "The Unamable" and "The Festival"
Unnamable was so forgetable, but the festival had a very interesting premise and I think might be the first time the Necronomicon is directly related to a story and not just mentioned. Very cool
