Torn about how to rate this one. With such original and in-depth world-building, I was so ready for this to be a slow burn that I was on the edge of my seat for, but when that slow burn rapidly turned in what felt like a rush to finish in the last 115 pages, I was somewhat disappointed. The amount of coincidences that just started happening back to back made the reveal a bit of a let down as much didn’t even track.
