This year, I made it a point to buy as few books as possible, and power through whatever I had remaining. Slowly but surely there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Have ditched a great many books but am enjoying whatever I get my hands on so much more now. It's crazy how fun it is to be able to buy books and dive headfirst into them, not worrying about whatever is lying around (has never been less).

You read a lot of books in a year, so I’m wondering how many physical books do you buy in an average year? I almost never buy books. I either borrow them from the library or friends or I get an e-book.

The weird answer is 'not a lot'. I bought like 6-9 books yearly on the webshop I usually visit. I sometimes buy from physical shops (love that the most but they focus a lot on more commrrcial stuff). I'm guessing the real number will be something like 15-20. Not that much, right? If I would finish my tbr shelf at home, I would stock up big time though. One of the main reasons I buy a lot is that I tend to make annotations. Especially in non-fiction. Bc I'm fond of learning stuff and find so much to return to. Do you sometimes mark pages, write in margins ... ?
