My poetic vocabulary, then, has something to do with allowing myself to feel the language, or performing Kafka’s imperative on myself; that the words are an axe to the frozen sea within me.

I feel that same sense of the impossible when I try to picture language. A galaxy? The stars are words. A vast smudge of them, a field of crowds and outliers, of older and newer entities. The words are clustered, but fluidly; they may belong in more than one constellation, according to sonics, or synonymy, or common origins. Our minds can move these stars.
