Honestly, yeah I get killing a bunch of rich assholes that do nothing but take.

The guillotine was a valid and necessary reaction to solidify France’s step towards freedom from an ancient systemic tyranny.

Intriguing and offers new insights into the French revolution that’s often left out of conversations about it such as the insights of women and people of colour. Off to a great start with the preface and first chapter.
