This book started strong but I got bored in the middle and just wanted to finish. If I had to hear Charlie say Alice every one more time I was going to poke my eye out. Alice spends a summer with her grandma, and meets Charlie. They are “friends” and of course fall for each other. I liked every summer after much better.
