Sam Scott So many pages! Is it worth it so far?

Stephanie Ross Yes—I’ve actually always been a fan of Dickens (except for Oliver Twist, which I find dumb). This is his most autobiographical book, so it’s interesting from that perspective. His observations about class inequality and the psychology of various characters are always very interesting. But my main motivation is to read Barbara Kingsolver’s Demon Copperhead, which is in some way based on this. So … we shall see if all 880 pages are worth it.

Sam Scott I just started reading Heather O'Neill's latest which apparently was written and published in serial form just like Dickens did. Much shorter though :-)
