Not sure so far....honestly, I is mostly "Let's abuse a girl and see how bad we can make it." But it seems to be based on real events, I'll have to do some research on that.

Unfortunately it is based on real events. There was a case like that in Indianapolis in 1965, Sylvia Likens, the unfortunate victim, was tortured in the same way. Horrible stuff.
