FUCK i left myself on a cliffhanger FUCK !! “More than one of them would love to tell the tale”??! Very huge sucker for when a book does this, I love to ponder and be afraid. There’s gore!! There’s some more action!! What does her hair have to do with their secrets/death!?

I’m liking the prose compared to some of the other fantasy excerpts I read in the bookstore. We definitely have a love interest and I feel like I know where we’re going now, but I just want to get out of Valentina’s house!!!

Okay so like I said the book started to feel like it picked up but we’re still kind of just preparing and thinking about what we’re gonna do. Which I can fuck with, truthfully, but only if something starts happening soon
