Ich habe bisher über Griechenland nur die üblichen Geschichtswerke von Jacob Burkhardt, sowie natürlich Herodot und Thukydides gelesen.
Ich nehme an, diese Volumen hier sind allumfassender?

Ja, die einzelnen Teile sind schon sehr umfangreich und genau. Insgesamt finde ich aber, daß Grote einen sehr gut lesbaren Stil hat.
