Half way through - whilst i am enjoying it i have found it lacking. It is quite disjointed. Some sections have really jarred - for instance the description of an ‘unattractive’ bone woman who was a ‘loner, fat and hairy’. At least the author knowledges the shallowness of this observation. These parts, peppered throughout, mean that it falls short. It isn’t as empowering as the tag line would suggest.
