Dammit, I hate when a book with so much promise written by an author I respect so much isn't very good and then ruins itself completely with insta-love that came out of no where.

Starting this book directly after reading The Cat Who Saved the Library and reading that beginning author’s note was just cruel to my poor heart. No matter what this book holds, this author has my adoration now.
