It's . . . good . . . . The two MC's are just now getting together, there are shenanigans that distract too much attention away from the friends-to-lovers thing I really wanted to read.

I feel ya. A couple of changes and more focus on the MC's feels would have given it the depth that would have made it work for me. I ended up feeling kinda bad for the cheating douche nugget.

Yeah, the whole arc with him was really super weird. He could've been left out completely and it would have been better.
