Armand’s entire dynamic with Louis is built on subtle manipulation dressed up as mentorship or “love.” He’s gloating about his part in Louis turning a human (right after Louis shares how much it cost him emotionally). He’s not offering support. He’s reframing Louis’ trauma.
I just wish Louis saw the red flags sooner.

The last 5 mins of reading Part 1 was so good but SO SHORT! It’s kinda cool reading some of the inspirations that led to the changes between the movie and TV show.

"Louis, my love, I was mortal till you gave me your immortal kiss. You became my mother, and my father, and so I'm yours forever. But now it's time to end it, Louis. Now it's time to leave him."

I support women's wrongs in murdering their bratty vampire dad!!!
