While both Emma and Dante know they come from very different worlds and it would be almost impossible for them to be together, they both can’t stop themselves for falling for each other and continue to only desire one another, despite their best tries to get each other out of their heads. Dante shows up at her work and gets jumped by a rival mafia gang. Emma takes care of him.

I was expecting there to be more buildup or suspense before Emma and Dante went all the way with each other. It didn’t take them very long to give in to their desires. I can’t believe that Emma’s boss is still demanding the majority of her pay from the tattoo sessions with Dante even after he roughed him up and threatened him.

This book has instantly started out with a bang. It jumps right into the action and doesn’t leave you in anticipation for something interesting to happen. Emma meets Dante while covering for her boss who called in sick to a tattoo job. They have instant sparks between them but both try to hide it. Neither can get the other out of their heads. Dante decides he wants Emma to finish his tattoo instead of her boss.
