She told her friends/ flatmates that she was dreading her birthday because her mom isn't alive to make it special anymore - one of the things she used to do was make heart-shaped pancakes in the morning - so they made and brought her heart-shaped pancakes for breakfast first thing when she woke up 🥲

2010. A new year, a fresh start. Things were about to happen, I felt it, although I had no idea just what was coming. If you'd told me then, I would never have believed you.

The suspense of everything and how good the writing is makes me obsessed already.
