Oh boy. I had expectations for this one. I mean it has libraries!
.. but also way too many descriptions of scents, more billiard-lore than I ever needed (I needed none), a "shpeshul" pick-me-girl (why the hell wouldn't you want to do magic, give me ONE good reason), demons??? that are literally just walking ADHD stereotypes???, vampires that are just dietarily restricted narcissists, and.. vampire yoga?? What. Lol.

UGH, why am I doing this, and how long until the sentient house appears so I can stop? How is it possible that the first few promising chapters were written by the same person as this?? Both the FMC's personality and the entire plot went out the same window that the MMC came in. When I'm not furious, I'm annoyed. Why is this rated to highly??
