JFC there is so much backstory that I'm missing. It says Book 1 in the duet but dang every 5 minutes I'm like wait - when did that happen?! and why the hell is his mom so hell bent on killing her?! none of this is making sense - except for the orgasms. at least this man is eating her well.

@Mysti I read a review on this book before I saw your update and I’m wishing u all the good vibes cause they be saying this was wack shit. Plus I heard the MMC was UGLY??? Like huhhhh. I was confused on why an author would want that, top that shit… he’s a HOE, and not the good kind. Lmk what u think tho. 😭

I have NO idea WTF is happening in this book - what's worse is my library doesn't carry Book 2 and I'm STILL tempted to buy it because I need to know what's happening!!! I am also trying to figure out if he's ugly. I'm about 99% positive that they've talked about how he was handsome, but then he was in an explosion so he has scars on the side of his face. He's a bad guy - no doubt on that one - but he's tender to her which makes you like him.
