I do like it so far. However, it does read like an AFTG fanfic. I know I found this book as a recommendation for people who liked aftg (the author of this book made that recommendation) and I can’t help but see all the foxes personalities in the characters of this book. That makes it harder to connect (1/2)

To the characters of this book. Instead of painting a new picture and getting to know them, I see Neil and Andrew and Nicky etc. in them and I’m having a hard time to see them as someone else. There’s way too many similarities for it to not be a redone fanfic/ heavily inspired by aftg. We have a lonely teen whose family died that meets a brooding mysterious guy that everyone calls “psycho”. Yep sounds like Neil and Andrew. The story is good tho and I’m intrigued to see where it goes but yeah it definitely feels like an all for the game fanfic.
