An excellent, award winning Spanish middle grade novel about an illegal immigrant Tuareg boy in Spain. The low overall GR rating is school kids being jerks and airing their displeasure about being "forced" to read this in school. 🙄

I think it more is a judgement of school and being told what they have to do than a judgement of the book itself. Still, hurts the actual book in the long run.

Only exceptions: Shakespeare and Milton. The language was just too old for me, although I appreciated Milton's outlook.
