Very curious about this book. I have heard of it but don't know much about it.

It is a completely character driven story of a young man and his family.. It actually starts BEFORE his birth and then carries on. We see the love, the pain, the dysfunction of his life. He has dreams and fantasies that he wants fulfilled, but reality doesn't seem to be what he has imagined. I don't think I have ever seen characters as well fleshed out! It is one that you have to really read slowly... The amount of detail is amazing, and there is so much to digest. It feels like an epic novel; covering so much time.. I have enjoyed it so much!
