Okay, I've moved my "currently reading" marker to the correct book in this series. (I started reading book 2, thinking it was 1...)
Yes, I'm 2/3 of the way in, so I'll probably finish this book, but I don't think I'll bother with book 1 (its details were retold here over and over again; enough times that I feel like I actually read it.)
The characters are all kinda flat and the inner monologues are cringe.
