It's getting very philosophical...

"Because we live in a world of magic and wonder and powers; but a world where troubles come from those powers, too, from permanently separating ourselves from merely seeing sheep to counting them."

The lesson for me, hearing these insinuations, was a wide-eyed understanding that, yes, appearances could be manipulated. That cynicism, where money was at stake, knew no bottom. If it meant saving a few bucks, why not publicly denounce someone as racist?

No problem seems bigger, more overwhelming, and threatening than climate change.
