But linear timeline wise takes place over shortest amount of time
But question arise about the reliability of the narrator and what is taking place
What is dream or reality

Very short chapters all approx 1-5 pages so far

Part 2 = chapters 11-30

Part two the plunge

Hard not to like Pip:
She is:
Innocent
Childlike
Adventurous
Rebellious
Loyal
Trusting
Isolated
Grieving
Curious
Disconnected

Wants to be educated
Wants to work
Wants to be part of society.
Wants to know why her father is not the same person as he was before they moved

Dualism of two worlds:
Off-grid nature and just dad
Technology and society. She lives with husband and his aunt

Narrator has nice and limited point of view due to age and lack of knowledge as well as lack of experience. She only knows what she can see, and what is happening around her. She is not connected to others or the outside world so reader is left with a lot of questions and no real answers during the first half of book. It creates a sense of wonder and a need to know more. I feel bad for Pip.
