You know, I'm just kind of skimming by now, and I'm still catching these things. The author could have, too, I'm sure, if he bothered to proofread his own book 🙈

Really? A guy who was born probably around 1915 and died in 1939 is a great-uncle of someone living in 2024? My math is glitching.
Though that's just a small detail in all the things that genuinely don't make sense, making the plot seem like a swiss cheese 🧀

Bad editing/proofing is pretty much ALWAYS a deal-breaker for me. 😣
@Pauline you know what's worse, it's Teddy's LOVER who's confused about Teddy's age xDDD Argh, I don't even know what came first anymore, this book, or my reading slump. It's like the chicken/egg debate >.< xD
@Daniel I thought I would be able to get over it but apparently not, especially as the errors are far from rare :// so no wonder it's usually a deal-breaker!
Damn I had heard good things about this one I’ll still listen when the audiobook comes out but I’ll probably giggle a bit when I see these parts

genuinely will never understand why it is so difficult to just proofread a book because it's always the little things like this that make pull the enjoyment form the story 😭

@sunny - for real, it's honestly an invitation for readers to dish out negative reviews... Although if these errors and the typos were the only things I had beef with, it could still stand a chance, but it's one big mess overall :/ Those five-star reviews have me thinking I've got a completely different copy -_-
