So, she is still somewhere she shouldn't be. Going through what she has already been through is crazy, and it still hasn't changed her as a person. Her parents just don't understand how teenagers cope with their feelings.

Elizabeth graduated from Carlbrook and then returned with her parents for a while. Ultimately, she left to go to California to be free. Got lost in drugs and alcohol for a few years. Multiple friends of her's from Carlbrook had died from drugs and suicide. One of her dearest friends Maya jumped off a bridge. Carlbrook ruined many people's lives forever, and still today, Elizabeth is struggling with her mental health.
