He just climbed a mountain and named it Mt Brown in honour of one of his botanical patrons from England. This was after going many miles in the snow over many weeks. He ate barely anything it seems, walked many miles over 7000 in total during the 2 or 3 years there and he was completely obsessed with plants and animals. He was a crazy but interesting guy. He kept his seeds safe and he had his tea to keep him sane.

Pemmican recipe, tea, game, trading tobacco.
He really lived a stark existence during his exploration very bare, constantly fatigued and moving off from camp every few days, travelling often. Meeting Indians and trading with them.
He found a lot of plants in alpine meadows and drier lowland meadows. Lupins, peonies, and more.

Getting food, learned about Alexander Selkirk the inspiration for Robinson Crusoe and they passed Galapagos island where Darwin formulated his theory. Animals must be very distinct and beautiful there. Learned about Physalae jelly fish, and sulae birds, albatross and more. The Old cathedral of Rio , and the ardeen granite paving the paths looks nice from what I looked up. The Magellan strait going through Chile.
