i’m not super infatuated with this book. a main theme is guilt and the physical manifestations of it. also the nature of cheating— the thrill is the fun of it. when there’s no hiding or sneaking, people like that get bored. i’m bored of this book. but it feels wrong not finishing it.

i’m not roped in, but the characters are weird and intriguing. the romanticism of each other is relatable— outside the infidelity. they’re also clearly handling the death horribly in their own ways.
