I was initially going to mention how I came into this bundle of short stories wanting gore and have been found wanting. Barker’s stories, while amazingly written, have not sated my need for something More from him. An umph that’s missing. This was found in “in the hills, the cities. agonizingly amazing, couldn’t look away.
