This is fast becoming my favourite of the series, and I think it’s because it’s the first time since the first book I really care about MurderBot and its humans both—because it’s the same humans from the first book, there’s depth of story/connection there, and it feels like a company might actually face consequences for being terrible (that’s how you know it’s fiction).

Oh, that little moment where Murderbot buys clothes and is all confused about liking it—because it got to choose something for itself—is kind of heartbreaking.

I’m really liking that Murderbot is circling back to earlier characters.
