I will continue to read this, probably out of survivors guilt, but.
So soon into this, the author has, on multiple occasions, used his terminal diagnosis to argue that we shouldn’t worry about “the state of the world” because nature will ‘recover’ and people are kind. I don’t consider the fact we will all die, and move on, a reason not to care about the earth and the systems we’ve established on it.
