I’m sorry wtf the is wrong with the author’s parents?? The backstory of ‘here’s why I’m a go-getter’ was of when she suffered a shark attack, became septic, and her parents didn’t believe anything was wrong/told her to get over it? 😵‍💫 the anecdote not resolving her parents grievous errors sets the storytelling stage for I’m guessing many other unsettling/odd takes.
