For ~300 pages in, barely anything has happened yet and I’m starting to lose it the way I did at 12 when I stopped at this same point. I’m pretty positive things are about to really pick up though, so I’ll prob check back with a more positive attitude. I <3 Tolkien’s writing style, but Frodo & gang running from Ringwraiths can only be going on for so long before I start going insane like the characters.
