This book is less self-help/parenting manual and more memoir. It feels like talking to a friend about the shifting in parenting as kids get older, which isn’t surprising given that it’s written by a long- time podcaster. I always feel like joining a conversation among friends when listening to podcasts like The Mom Hour. This book was affirming and comforting but nothing profound or spectacular.
