Six pages in and this already feels like it has been written by a teenage girl who is obsessed with fan fiction or by a millennial who has no clue what’s like to be a teenager.

I am aware that High school girls are vaping in the bathrooms but I don’t need to read about it. I get that the idea is to make it feel more relatable but it’s just cringe. Can we stick to the classic high school romance tropes?

Atp I consider this book a social experiment and want to see how much I can take before I throw it away

It becomes worse with each page but it’s somewhat entertaining. Still it feels as if the author has gathered each possible cliche and put it in this book

I can’t believe what I’m reading

“Was that how the open echelon of my GENDER landed boyfriends???” Who talk like that??
I need to take breaks between the lines because I cringe too hard

It becomes a bit better but only because Wes has enough personality to compensate for Liz’s lack of. No one should be this delusional and obsessed with rom-coms and I could understand their sentimental value if she didn’t actually believe she could recreate a tv plot in hr real life. This girl needs to listen to her friends and calm tf down
