So my pet peeve is when an author creates a new country for like a royal family or something and then makes connections to real life places... like this henland place is supposed to be in driving distance to paris and brussels. so is henland supposed to be wallonia? smushed in between france and belgium? or an annexated part of germany??? geographical politics flew out of the window here lmao
