This is a first for me reading a Stephen King book. I am having a hard time getting through it. Hired hitman books should not be this dull and boring. There is nothing happening. WHY is the hitman taking all this time imbedding himself in the scenario? Just shoot the guy, move on and head to paradise with your cash payout.

King should really stick to his genre. He randomly brings home a woman who has been severely assaulted…instead of calling the cops, and turns out she knows what he did??? Come on with the ridiculous coincidences.

There are many things in this book that solidified my beliefs that he knows nothing about the subject, nor anything about firearms, or basic tactics. However, he sure is good at creating that small town vibe and feel.
