We also get a very odd scene of the girls from the base bathing in the river they use to clean the clothes. Which made me realize that this book is indeed made by a man… :( which had the trope of being interrupted by a man… how fun! 🤩 anyways we move on and learn they are scavenging food from abandoned city’s and using the juggernaut’s to carry the supplies back.

She was leading a different squad and had barely any deaths or none I think. And she traded over to shins team because her father and we learn that there’s that shin or undertaker has caused past commander to kill themselves and it leans Lena to grow interested but also scared!

We meet her uncle (not blood uncle) we learn her father died and her mother is not the nicest woman around. We meet another girl who is a scientist and her dad helped make the necklace things that connect them to each other’s minds. We also learn that it killed the girls father while studying it. At the end we meet shin who introduces himself in a nervous tone!

Continuation of previous stuff:
We learn 86 sector is for meta humans? Idk what they are called but the government calls them pigs that they use for “testing” so that there people don’t know they are actually human. We learn that they can connect through technology in the brain? Don’t know fully about that? We also learn the flag is made up of 5 colors of unity. And that’s all I think…

So far, we meet Lena the white haired girl on the cover. We learn she had a childhood friend from 2nd grade that is in the military as well as a scientist and tends to stay up all night. We learn all the soldiers in the capital have never seen war. We learn the capital is very pretty and clean a lot of students and families. We learn that there are 85 sectors for the government.
