I have the audiobook which is wonderfully engaging with its range of voices, but I got the Kindle version too, because the literary value needs to be SEEN to be savored. The verb choice, the killer metaphors,magnetic characters and slow, sultry suspense has me one satisfied reader—and I’m only at 16%!
