This is taking far too long to read. Not a fault of the book but rather that I have been reading the Empire of a Vampire trilogy at the same time.
I am finding the book strangely compelling despite the complex world of New Crobuzon and the extensive use of uncommon words. I fear though that once again this will have to make way for the final installment of Jay Kristoff's Vampire trilogy.
