What a cool depiction of conflict! But isn't it three states of mind? One in favor of x, the other in favor of y, the third, above and beyond them, torn between the two? What of the third?

Some really interesting short poetry. 46 especially.

Seems like a reference to 'Eros the limb loosener,' but I'm not sure...

The whole dynamic of fragments is so interesting to me. This could be a standalone poem! But there is something more Sappho wants to say.

Interesting: Sappho keeps discussing "loosing wrongs" -- not sure what that means.

Eg: "to loose all the wrongs he did before (25)"
