I'm just reading words on the pages atp. I'm not connecting to this book as I thought I would. I was so excited to read this based on the summary and also finding out the author is Trinidadian and it takes place in Trinidad. The spice levels are really high. First few chaps in(I think 2nd or 3rd) they're already having sexual intercourse. Them being rivals when they were teens I thought we would get to learn more—

about that. But so far it's basically them with family and friends, clubbing, and being horny constantly. Which I get not being able to keep their hands off each other but I guess I just thought that it'll at some point give us flashbacks when they were teens and the last time they were together so we could understand their relationship better. It might later on which is why I'm contemplating on DNFing or continuing.
