I’m so invested in this book so far. At first I wasn’t sure about it because it’s been a little hard to keep with all the powers and the names of them but I love the main characters so far. I can’t wait to read what happens after Kai saves Paedyn in the forest (this scene kinda reminds me of when Katniss saved Peeta with the Salve. )

The first trial just ended but not without blood spilled. The story is definitely getting more interesting by the second. There are still a lot of similarities to The Hunger Games but has its own uniqueness. I’m also loving the flirting with Kai 😆 neither him or Paedyn want to admit anything about their feelings. I also love the alliances made.
