Managed to find the audiobook again ;)

I'm sorry, but you can't write about a character who's in a very tricky situation because he's lost his memories, but then whenever he's about to do something that he'd know not to if he DID have his memories he suddenly gets "a very strong gut feeling" not to. That just feels like cheating. It's so lazy. Just write a normal hostage situation at that point. It makes more sense
