So, I’m halfway through this brick of a book.
Although it is an overall enjoyable read, full of action, I am having some difficulty with it.
At halfway through we’re already dealing with a handful of life forms; humans, the soft blade, the jellies, the nightmares & the vanished. There’s so much going on with little room for character development and in depth description, that I feel detached from the story.
