I absolutely love everything about this until about 80 percent where the male leads character became more prominent. I abhor him.

The female lead is fantastic. The world building is superb and this would have been one of my top favorites if the male lead was better.

His reasoning and the way he acts with the heroine doesn't justify at all. Urrghh
