DNF :( i have to admit to myself that im just not a dark academia kinda girly and thats ok. bc this book is so boring to me 😭 why r they always in school where’s the PLOTTTTT the buildup is agonizing

ok not that i don’t like this book and i understand that the lore is incredibly comprehensive and needs to be explained a lot but the way that the reader essentially needs to sit through LECTURES to learn the lore KILLS ME especially bc its not necessarily plot driven or like…. important yet
like bro i dont wanna listen to profs in general and ESPECIALLY NOT IN A COOL FANTASY SETTING
