“It’s seeing that everybody gets what’s coming to him, that’s what it is…”
“If we go and hang two-three men, without doing what the law says, then by the same law, we’re not officers of justice, but due to hang. Our crime’s worse than a murderer’s. His act puts him outside the law, but keeps the law intact. Ours would weaken the law.”
